ESAA District Cross Country Championships

The annual district cross country championships was held at Netherhall School in Cambridge on the 3 December on a cold but sunny morning; perfect cross country conditions.
Our largest contingent of athletes to date competed in this team competition with places in the Cambridge County team at stake. Our students rose to the challenge and all performed admirably and did the school proud.
The most notable performance went to Isaac M who won the Junior Boys event with an extremely controlled and comfortable victory proving his class and cementing his place in the County team. Also securing places in the country team were the following students who performed to an exceptionally high standard.

Bethany B - 4th place: Inter Girls
Francesca T - 4th place: Senior Girls
Connie T - 9th place: Junior Girls
Louis J- 11th place: Junior Boys
Cecily H - 12th place: Inter Girls
We wish all these students every success competing for the Cambridge District at the County Schools in January.
