Welcome to the Senior School and Sixth Form Drama and Theatre department, a dynamic hub of creativity with student engagement at its heart. Alongside our busy teaching schedule, we run an exciting and ambitious programme of co-curricular clubs and productions, offering our students a wide range of opportunities to participate, collaborate and to develop their skills as theatre makers.
Our productions are highly creative. Playtexts are carefully chosen to showcase the talents of our students and our performances regularly include live music and dance. Behind the scenes, students are involved in all aspects of the theatre-making process, from designing and making props, costumes and set to taking care of the technical aspects such as sound and lighting.
To experience first hand what we offer, please contact the Senior School Office for tickets to our next production – we look forward to seeing you in the audience!

Drama, speaking and listening skills are embedded across the curriculum, and from Year 4 discrete Drama lessons encourage collaboration and creativity, which help to boost self-confidence. Through participation, children begin to acquire the skills needed to stand up in front of an audience and to create imaginative and effective theatre. There are plenty of opportunities to take part in activities and performances throughout the school, and we aim to be totally inclusive and believe that everyone deserves a role.

Our inclusive approach ensures everyone can participate in the many activities and performances, with lessons encouraging collaboration and creativity which help boost self-confidence. We offer specialist LAMDA classes which support and extend skills, in addition to our curriculum for pupils who strive for further excellence in areas like acting, musical theatre and public speaking.
