We provide rich and varied physical education and games programmes that support personal growth and encourage lifelong learning.
The Year 7 to 8 curriculum is a structured programme that encourages students to develop new skills in a range of individual and team sports. In Year 7 and Year 8, students have physical education lessons covering units such as fitness, dance and gymnastics. Our games programme consists of the major sports for the girls hockey, netball and cricket and for the boys football, hockey and cricket. Touch rugby, girls football, tennis and athletics are also taught in these year groups.
In Year 9 students are able to choose from a range of sporting options including all of the above alongside basketball, badminton and volleyball.
In Year 10-11 continue to have the freedom to choose from a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports but with slightly more options such as rowing, spinning, yoga, pilates, squash and zumba.
